Indie Clothing Company has plans to open a new business in the USA, after being shut down by authorities in the UK last week.
In a statement, the company said it would be taking a “conversation” with local authorities to set up shop.
The company had been based in Brighton, Brighton-upon-Thames, since 2011, and has been running its website since February.
It said it was “currently looking for a partner in the United States”.
It added: “We want to bring an authentic, handmade, high quality clothing business to the US and build on our UK and European connections to give our customers a high-quality shopping experience.”
The company said that it was working with local retailers to open up its online store in the coming months.
The statement came as the BBC reported that a man who was arrested in the city last month on suspicion of terror offences was deported from the UK to Germany.
The 37-year-old man, who is believed to have ties to the al-Qaida-linked Islamic State group, was stopped at London’s Gatwick airport on February 18.
He was arrested and later charged with the attempted murder of a police officer.
